"Went up for the Meredith fishing derby- little concerned as water was open in front, was able to get out on the ice however. Fantastic view, lost of space in the house. A tv in the downstairs livingroom would have been nice so that kids could use the family room and adults could watch something else. Overall a great experience. "

"Overall, we had a great stay. The property is fairly private, has a boat dock, and a small sandy beach that was perfect for our small grandchildren. Everyone had a great time. There were a few small negatives. The upstairs sleeping loft was quite warm, so our nephews came down to be in air conditioning, the grill ran out of gas in the middle of cooking dinner,one has to ve VERY careful of rocks in bringing a boat to the dock (there were instructions and we didn't hit anything) However these were minor. Overall our stay was great."

"Last year we stayed in the same property. The grill didn't work because it was out of gas. I filled out this survey, but the same thing happened this year! Our son and his family were coming Saturday evening. We had steak, corn, and all the fixings, but at 5 or so, we tried the grill and there was no gas. The office was very responsive and delivered a full cylinder fairly quickly.
Also, the Internet wasn't functioning. It turned out that the modem just needed rebooting, but this was quite anxious, as my children's businesses need the Internet.
Other than that, everything was fine."

"I sent the review to the address that was listed on the review sheet. We had a fantastic time while we were there. In fact the kids were all complaining that there was too much to do. With my MS the place was perfect!!! I didn't once trip on anything, the open house was perfect for me. The description was perfect and my little service dog even had a great time chasing the ducks; he even learned to swim because of them. We all kept so busy that it only took 2 minutes for everyone to fall asleep. We had the best time there, better than any other place we've stayed at for the last 5 years. We would like to come again next year at the same time (the first full week in July, and bring my service dog with us) The house was perfect!!!"

"This was the 3rd time we have rented this place for family vacation. As usual we had a fantastic time. We all range in age from 67 to 4 and there is always something to do. We want to rent the house again next year (7/8 to 7/14) nd hope we can get the house for that week. There are 12 of us and there is more than enough room for all of us. The upgrades were great - just needs more A/C for those hot nights."

"This is our second year renting this house in the summer. We had 3 small families and it is perfect for that. As long as the kids are ok climbing a ladder to the attic loft, it's perfect. The bay is rocky for motorized boats but once you learn your way around it's great. Still big enough to water ski/tube, but small enough for the waves to be small. It has 3 large AC's though two of the bedroom still get a little hot. There are ceiling fans though. The house is still only a short drive to Hannaford, a hardware store, and ice cream."

"A wonderful - comfortable house- well appointed and stocked with useable equipment. Kitchen was easy to work in and with the exception of garbage not having been removed at all the previous week was a joy to use. Water equipment was plenty and in fairly good condition. We loved the outside shower and was the only one used during the week by some of our family. One issue was a noisy pump in neighbors yard next door. Caused sleeping difficulty for bedrooms on that side of the house. Third floor ladder a little dangerous- need to supervise young children closely. Fun week and good time had by all."

"we have stayed at this house for 5 years. The weather was perfect. Our vacation is a family celebration so the grandchildren get to know each other. They range in age from 24-6. The house is close to everything they like to do and then we all meet for supper, swimming and games. the kids have fun all day and us old folks have a quiet time."

Adults and kids of all ages enjoyed the paddle boat and canoe and we were able to dock our rented pontoon boat for even more water fun. The kitchen has everything you could need."

"We stayed here with 4 total families. The house was very spacious and accommodating to all (including 6 children!) We loved the beach, spacious rooms, quantity of bathrooms and stocked kitchen. Be sure to read about the rocks in the water if you are bringing/renting a boat. Property was excessively buggy so pack bug spray! We loved our stay but wish there was a fire pit for something to do at night!"
