Charming 2 bedroom Winnipesaukee lake cottage resting just feet from the shore. Step into this wonderful property and feel at home immediately with its wood-paneled walls and cozy fireplace (sorry, fireplace is off limits and not to be used). From the living room, step out into the 3-season room with 3 sets of sliders facing the water where you can enjoy a friendly (or competitive - that's up to you) evening board game as well as your meals with a picture perfect view. Once outside, feel the sand between your toes on the beach as you jump in to cool off on those hot summer days or read that book you've wanted to get to on the waterfront deck where you can watch the ducks and loons floating by or maybe even catch some dinner. A Keurig coffee maker is even provided so you can sit and enjoy a cup while watching the sun come up. If you would like to explore all Lake Winnipesaukee has to offer just bring or rent a boat. The dock on this property will accommodate a boat up to 22 feet in length. Come and enjoy your next vacation here! Water source to the house is from the lake. Tenant must purchase bottled water. There are no outside fires allowed at this property. There is no heat source in this cottage. If you would like to rent linens, the fee for this property is $45 for sheets and $12 per person for towels. If you would like to have the beds made for you, the fee is $8 per bed. Parking for 2 cars.

The rental process and exchanges with Lake Vacation Rentals was easy. They responded promptly to my questions and the check-in, check-out process was fast. Everything I needed was provided in their welcome bag!
The cottage was perfect for me and my son - bedding was comfortable and we loved the look and feel of the living room and porch. Of course, the dock and lake-deck were superb! The beach area was also nice for a sandy entrance into the lake - we launched our kayaks from there and swam.
The cottage was as advertised - I found a laundromat nearby and any supplies or food we needed were close by (about a 5-10 minute drive). The cottage was generally clean, but not "deep-cleaned". While it did get warm while we were there, if you manage the blinds on the porch and catch the lake breezes, we kept the house cool. I can imagine the cottage being hot during a heat wave where the overnight didn't cool down - we used the fans provided and were comfortable all week.

Perfect Hidden Gem
This home is absolutely perfect! I rented this house with my son and it was the right size for us and to have my Mother and Brother come up for a night or two. 4 people fit perfect but you can always add in the 5th if needed. Sitting directly on the lake with a dock is amazing. Being able to walk out and enjoy the lake anytime you want is simply heaven. Add in the great lawn and the fact that you are tucked away from any traffic and you couldn't ask for more.
