Recent Reviews About This Property

"We loved our vacation here! The master bedroom has the most gorgeous picture window overlooking the lake, nice en suite bathroom with a large capacity washer and dryer. The kids room is brand new with four custom bunk beds and a mural that’s a map of the area. Two more nice bedrooms have queen beds, and one is on the other side of the house for a little privacy.

The living room and kitchen are retro with a classic lake house vibe and very clean and comfortable. The sunroom is gorgeous and bright. Lots of rooms to spread out, which was great for us since it poured buckets for our first four days. One point, the living room is down four steps from the kitchen and bedrooms, so bring a baby gate if you’ve got little kiddos.

The kids loved swimming from the dock to the swim raft. The water is quite deep and the raft is maybe 100+ feet out so if you’re not very strong swimmers, bring life jackets. The beach is a couple minutes drive.

When the weather cleared up, we were outside on the deck and lawn pretty much sunrise to sunset. A family of loons and a heron visited us on the dock, too! Perfect vacation house! "

"My son, his wife and their three little girls enjoyed a wonderful week on the lake at this great home and location. The house was perfect for our group with room for a friend to stay one night as well. We also rented a small boat which added to our fun. We enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return next summer. "

"We had a wonderful week at the lake. This property sued our family needs quite well. We had two sets of grandparents who each got a bedroom and the kids shared the bunk room. My wife and I were able to use the fourth bedroom which also had a bathroom attached to it. The only downside to the house was it did not have central air conditioning and we were going through heat wave. The nights were a little hot, but we managed.

The dock was brand new and had steps into the water, which were very convenient. The water is quite shallow in the area so you have to be careful with a boat and no diving headfirst. There are a lot of rocks as well.

The views of the lake in the mountains were wonderful. We got to see the sunrise multiple mornings. The grill worked great and the deck was wonderful.

We even had a bit of a plumbing issue issue come up during the week, but the management company was excellent and had professionals come out to fix the issue right away."

"Family - Parents/ grandparents, 3 adult children with spouses or significant other and one 2 year old.

First family vacation on a lake, had always been the beach. What a difference, we all want to come back next year, can’t say much more than that.

Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were good sized, beds were comfortable. The house had much more space than expected, 3 great family gathering spaces, living room, family room and a canopied portion of exterior deck.

The lake was surprisingly quiet, power boats in early evening were the only distraction, mostly music, and they disappeared before dusk. Water temperature was warmer than expected. Dock is brand new and the raft is in great shape.

Nice lawn but not that flat since it slopes down to the water. Great for cornhole and maybe Alpine Croquet. There are kid swings. Being on a northeast shore we expected the property to not have much afternoon sun but the clearing allowed for direct sun until late afternoon, plenty of lawn furniture. The gas grill was new worked like a charm, an extra tank of gas was there if needed.

A couple of things:
• Bring water shoes, the lakeshore is stony.
• We brought bikes, it isn’t that bikeable. The lake is well below the level of the main road and quite steep in some places
